I happened to think this morning, that I did not include directions for the scarves I'm making for my brother's afghan. I made it up myself by deciding how I wanted the afghan to look and how big I wanted it. So, here it is:
Using worsted weight yarn and a size I hook:
Ch 37
Hdc in the 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across; ch 1, turn.
Hdc in each st across; repeat this row for a total of 17 rows.
Repeat for 17 rows of each color.
I made a total of 13 color blocks. I haven't done a guage yet, but my scarves are about 12-14 inches wide and it fits a single sized mattress from edge to edge, none hanging over. I'll try to get a couple of pictures and some color names later today.
